We will help provide you with training, educational materials, and other resources to help ensure you're prepared and successful in caring for the new additions to your family.

If you're considering adopting but aren't sure what it's like to live with a rabbit, talk to us or look through our Instagram to start to learn more.

We'll start with having you fill out a questionnaire. There, you'll need to let us know more details about your existing animals, your living situation, how you plan to care for your rabbit(s), and more.

We'll then need you to conduct an virtual in-home check of where your rabbit(s) will live.

If you end up taking your rabbit(s) home, we'll conduct a final in-home check to see where your rabbit(s) will be living, then thereafter we'll check in with you monthly for the first four months to make sure everything is going well. This will be essentially a fostering trial period to make sure that you and your rabbit(s) are happy with the match. At the end of this period, we'll conduct a final in-home check and then your rabbit(s) will become officially yours!

From there, we'll check in once a year to make sure you and the rabbit(s) both don't need anything.

You are always able to reach out to us if you run into challenges or other issues relating to your rabbit(s). When you adopt from us, you join the Two Rabbit Rescue family; we're always here to help when we can.

We will provide all blankets, beds, toys, food & water bowls, rugs, and other belongings as applicable that have been given to or donated to the rabbit(s) you are adopting, as long as they are still in working condition.

We will transport your rabbit(s) to you in order to conduct the final in-home check once approved, anywhere within Southern California.

Adopting outside of Southern California is only for extremely serious adopters and will require a more stringent approval process; however, it does not disqualify you from adopting from us. We will still bring your rabbit(s) to you.
